Pet Art World began in 2014 in a small studio in Aligarh, with a single easel, a good kettle, and a stubborn idea: that commissioning a beautiful, hand-painted portrait shouldn't require knowing the right gallery or gambling on an artist you'd never met.
Our founders — a painter and a builder of small things on the internet — kept hearing the same wish from friends: "I have this photo of my dog / my grandmother / my kids, and I'd love a real painting of it… but I wouldn't know where to start." So they built the place to start.
We don't paint the portraits ourselves. We do something quieter and, we think, more useful — we bring you the world's best portrait artists and stand behind every step.
Today, Pet Art World is a curated marketplace of more than 600 hand-picked artists across 30+ countries. You post a photo; they send you quotes; you choose the one that feels right.
