Upload your photo on the Get a Portrait page with your first name and email. Your request is posted to our artist marketplace, matched artists send you quotes, and you choose the one you love. We take care of payment and delivery.
A clear, well-lit photo where you can see the face is ideal — but a good phone snapshot is perfectly fine. Our artists can improve lighting, tidy backgrounds and even combine several photos. If we need a clearer shot, we'll ask.
Absolutely. Group portraits — multiple pets, a whole family, or pets and people together — are among our most popular commissions. Just mention it when you post, and the artists will quote accordingly.
Pricing & payment
It depends on the medium, size and artist. Digital prints start at $39; hand-painted oils typically start around $129. Because each artist quotes to your specific photo, you always see the exact price before committing.
Only once you've chosen your artist and approved the details. Payment is handled securely through Pet Art World — never directly with the artist — so you're protected the whole way through.

Digital prints ship within a few days. Hand-painted portraits usually take one to four weeks depending on the medium, plus shipping time. Your chosen artist confirms the timeline in their quote.

Most artists include a round of revisions, and you can request tweaks before the piece is finalized. We'll help coordinate any changes with your artist to get it just right.
